Untitled

The man in the corner shuffles tarot cards
to deal a game of Solitaire,
Hoping the cards will line together
and make more sense than
his life ever will.

He wants answers to questions
he doesn’t even know,
that he thinks are emotions
because he relies on intuition
(even when reason might show the best path).

Though the girl at bar might be in the game,
she’s just as confused. Instead of asking
she thinks she might know
and lets him play the game alone.

Author’s Note on Post 336: I felt like I needed to write after being absent for a while. Besides, this is the first post for September. Not having a clue about what story or prose piece to write, I sat down and scraped up this poem, which was an attempt to categorize my emotions today. I didn’t want it to be so cut and dry, so some confusion and exploration is ok. I was mostly focusing on imagery, anyway.

A Little Art Information

Since I’ve been getting questions and comments about prints, I thought I’d mention my policy pertaining to them and how you can buy some.

1. You can buy prints by following this link or by going to the main page and click the tab at the top that says "Prints."
2. If you do not see a print of your favorite picture, email me and I will make it happen. I will notify you when your print is available for purchase.
3. Click on the picture you want, the size (which will be located at the right), and then "Add to cart"
4. If you want more prints, click "Continue shopping" at the top of the page. But if you’re done,
5. Fill out the form and then click "Place your order."

Note: Commissions will not be made into prints unless I have permission from the costumer.
