Thank you, Fate for my warm bed
And for the roof over my head
Thank you for the meal I’ll eat
instead of starving in the street.
Thank you, Fate for my friends
People who will quickly make amends
Thank you for a family that loves me
Even when I’m not happy
Thank you, Fate for giving me a chance
To continue on this ungrateful dance
I know it’s been hard, but let me say:
Thank you for this lovely day.
