Acrylic on canvas. Our assignment was to imitate Hunderwasser, an Austrian abstract artist. I decided on the theme marionettes and masks with the intention of having it represent our society today in that we are controlled by someone other than ourselves and we don’t always show the world who we really are. Hopefully you can see them amidst all the chaos that is color. Anyway, this was completely different for me and a little liberating. I was still very neat in my application, but it forced me to think outside the box a little.
