Oil on canvas. I saw this picture in a nature magazine and instantly fell in love with it. This is the oldest picture in my portfolio, but still a favorite.

Note to self: sand is really hard to wash out of brushes.

    Lucid Waking is a literature and art blog that started as Shades of Pink in 2004. Lucidwaking.net has housed my fiction since June 2006 and shortly after grew to include art and photography. Most of the written work is in a draft phase--although gone through a precursory edit--and should be evaluated with a grain of salt. Every year Lucid Waking grows and gets better and I hope to keep satisfying my readers.
