Oil on canvas. I wanted to try a new technique so I painted this entirely using palette knives. A palette knife is just a thin shaped piece of metal that spreads the paint like frosting. Often it turns out more abstract, so I chose to do a landscape rather than a person. I’m pleased with how this turned out, but I’m not sure if I’ll do another one because I don’t like that I can’t control details.
