I took this picture at home right before my mom cut into the beautiful white cake. My parents were having espresso and the scene just looked nice with the perfect lemon cake and pretty china with dark brown espresso. So, obvious, I like the colors about this one.

    Lucid Waking is a literature and art blog that started as Shades of Pink in 2004. Lucidwaking.net has housed my fiction since June 2006 and shortly after grew to include art and photography. Most of the written work is in a draft phase--although gone through a precursory edit--and should be evaluated with a grain of salt. Every year Lucid Waking grows and gets better and I hope to keep satisfying my readers.
