Taken in Phoenix, AZ. There aren’t a lot of butterfly shots where you don’t really see the wings. That’s what really makes this shot unique. I was also surprised to find out the detail when I saw the shot on my computer and that you could see the body, much better than you could on the tiny preview screen. It’s a little fuzzy because the light was so bright, but it gives it a surreal glow that kind of makes it better than life.
