My Art
Artist’s Statement:
Drawing, painting, and creating have always been my outlets. I’ve always picked subjects that are beautiful, regardless of what they are and perhaps, in the process of painting, made them more beautiful. I like all my work to be neat and pretty and you can tell, especially in later works, the time I’ve taken to make them so. I’m still learning and growing, but for now, my work remains the beautiful reflection of the world. I feel that we have enough ugliness without creating more and that we can stand to have a little more beauty in our lives to make us appreciate the efforts we’ve gone to surviving this far.
